About 4LSCB

LSCBs have been established by the government to ensure that organisations work together to safeguard children and promote their welfare. In Portsmouth, Southampton Hampshire & the Isle of Wight each area not only has its own local LSCB but we work under an umbrella partnership called the 4LSCB. We believe this allows us to make the best use of our shared skills, knowledge and resources in safeguarding & promoting the welfare of children & young people.

We want to make sure that children and young people feel safe and cared for in our areas and hope that this website is useful to those who want to know more about the work of the LSCB. It is accessible to children and young people, families and communities as well as professionals working with children.
