The CDOP meet bi-monthly to review all child deaths. CDOP consider groups of similar deaths at designated panel meetings in which specialist are invited. This is in line with revised chapter 7 (Working Together To Safeguard Children, DSCF 2010) point 7.44. Any recommendations are sent to each of the 4LSCBs and are published in the CDOP Annual Report.
