Rapid Response Procedures

The aim of the procedure is to set a standard response to an unexpected death of a child. The definition of an unexpected death is a death which was not anticipated or where there is a lack of clarity about whether the death of a child is unexpected. 4LSCB has a set procedure of the minimum standards for Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth to respond and be compliant with Working Together.
