Training and Development opportunities are provided by the Children and Young Peoples Trust Board (CYPTB) Workforce Development Team and detailed information on their inter-agency training calendar can be found by visiting the Workforce Development section of the CYPTB website.  If you are a professional working around Southampton and would like advice on developing your workforce's safeguarding awareness through training then the CYPTB website affords this advice can also be found here.

SSCB Events and Study Opportunities

The SSCB commission and provide events to advertise key safeguarding messages arising from Serious Case Reviews, launches of protocols and study days providing an opportunity for inter-agency professionals to come together to discuss safeguarding issues.   Invitations are circulated throughout organisations from your Local Safeguarding Children Board Business Coordinator.
